Our Chief Creative Donna Gagnon, chief creative and technical director, is president of InfoTainment Services, Inc, founded in 2001. In addition to managing InfoTainment staff, she remains chief overseer of outside vendors ITS contracts with for entertainment, technicians, catering, graphic design and other specialty services. Donna began her professional career in theater at the age of 15 as a Property Assistant for a Broadway bound Equity musical. She stayed with this 100-year-old Vaudeville House in Upstate New York for 10 years, where she studied Scenic Construction, Design, Rigging, Lighting, Props, Stage Management, Sound and Production Management. Between seasons, Donna worked as a Sound Engineer and Production Manager for a 3,000 seat Theater in The Round, and began to provide her services for Theatrical Touring Houses and other Performance and Sports Arenas throughout the United States and Canada. She was a card-carrying member of IATSE, and is a qualified Union Technical Stage Director. After years of touring and live production, Donna joined an established Scenic Production Studio, where her first major project was the electrical layout and wiring for the ET Spaceship at Universal Studios Florida. Disney projects followed, from illuminated backdrops for Disney on Ice to the design and creation of a full Disney on Broadway set. She branched into Technical Corporate Media Design and Production. And after a successful 15-year career in the Staging and Special Events Division, she left to launch her own Infotainment Services, Inc. Leading ITS, Donna’s range of experiences provide unique value to our clients, through an array of services and offerings that successfully combine technical expertise with creative innovation.
